Some of the Madiga/ Arunthathiyar brothers are very much agitated seeing the assertion of Mala, Mahar, Pallars and Pariahs. We appreciate them if the agitation is purely a Madiga / Arunthathiyar assertion. We must pay attentions to caste discrimination within Dalit communities and remove it as early possible. Some of the guys who are slave of Shudra feudal try to malign our people, our community and our struggle, showing the caste differences in our community. Some of the guys attack Mala, Mahar, Pallar and Pariahs as “dominant Dalits” but they are silent about the Chamars. If Malas and Mahars are “dominant Dalits”, what about the Chamars? The Chamars are numerically high and they spread all over India. The Chamars lead the Dalit movement and they are numerically high in politics, education and jobs etc. We do not feel bad about the power and assertion of Chamars. We strongly believe that the Chamars assersion is a Dalit assertion, hence it is our assertion. When some of our brothers and sisters write Chamar with their names we do not see as caste arrogance but we see it as a Dalit assertion.
