Why worshiping language is only pertinent to Tamils? What that behavior actually means?

Amala Singh : Why worshiping language is only pertinent to Tamils? What that behavior actually means?

Sakya Muni:  Tamils (Hindus) adopted that culture from the Brahmans who claim that Sanskrit is the deva bhasha (laguage of GOD) ......

Raveen S. Nathan : Language is worshiped actually and metaphorically amongst many communities. French is a good European example. Well for Tamil, the Sramanas set it up from day one as a sacred language as good or as opposition to the other sacred language in...

Sakya Muni:  There is a difference between showing the gratitude of Samanas and the worship of Brahmans. Tamil is identified as a female Goddess and worshiped by Tamils (Hindus). Tamils just imitate Brahmans without any rational.  The Tamils put sacredness in to their language and keep some other language as profane. The Tamil Bhakti literature treats both Pali and Sanskrit as low quality languages. The ancient Samanas never made language as a God or Goddess. There was no sacredness to Pali. They did not treat any other language as profane. Rather they paid homage to their language. The Samanas pay respect to Pali and pay homage to it, because it protected the teaching of Buddha for many centuries. There is no position of God or Goddess for Pali. Pali has no mythical stories as Sanskrit and Tamil have. According to Tamil myth, the goddess Tamil was born, when Devas and Asuras were shaking (grinding) the parkadal (milk-sea). . The amizhthu (amrutha) came out  the grinded or shaken milk sea. Both Devas and Asuras called the goddesses as amizhth amizth amzith (the word Tamil came). The goddess was named after the Amruth/ Amizhthu. This is the way the sacredness and divinely-ness given to Tamil through Brahmanical Hindu myths. There is also another story of Tamil. The Lord Shiva created Tamil and taught Agastiya muni. Through Agasthiya muni, the Tamil was taught to people of Tamil Nadu. All this myths generated for many centuries to give divinely positions to Tamil. Even in this modern era, the so-called rationalist of Dravidan Government under the leadership of Mr. Karunanithi adopted, Tamil Thai Vazhthu (Prayer to Tamil Mother). They impose to sing this song on every child in Tamil schools.  All this so called secularist who protect against Sanskrit Hindutava songs of Sarasvati Vandana are ignorant of this anti-Islamic and Tamil Hindutva song which is sung in the secular schools in Tamil Nadu. From childhood onwards the Tamils are trained in worshiping Tamil Thai (Mother Goddess).
